Happy Tuesday!
I’m on a roll this round with getting posts up early! Yay me! Somehow, I need to figure out how to bottle this kind of discipline so I can store it for when I need it the most. I even got some writing done last week – this kind of productivity is unheard of, so let’s hope I can keep it going.
Speaking of keeping it going, let’s keep this round of #TuesFlashFicTrain going strong! Before you check out the prompt below, be sure to catch up on the story in parts one and two.
To the prompt!
We’re coming onto the halfway point of the story already – can you believe it? In the interest of keeping things interesting, let’s throw a bit of a wrench into the works. Last we left the story, Mark is venturing into the subway system to find out what happened to Sienna. In the next installment, I want you to somehow include the phrase, “Barking up the wrong tree.” How does he encounter this phrase? Or do we jump back to Sienna? It’s completely up to you – let your imaginations run wild!
Remember, keep it under 400 words, continue last week’s piece & submit your response in the comment section below. Don’t forget to include your twitter handles and/or other social media links for promotion! Submissions close on Friday @ 11:59 PM EST – tell your friends!
Questions, suggestions? Check out the rules in more detail and/or drop me a line!
As always, think happy thoughts!
